Welcome our new executive director

Please help me welcome Sarah Gardner as our newest Executive Director!
Sarah Gardner, LMSW, received her Bachelors of Social Work from Tarleton State University in 2019. She went on to receive a Masters of Social Work from Baylor University in 2020 and a Masters of Family Ministry from Dallas Baptist University in 2022. Gardner joined CASA of Hill County Texas as a volunteer advocate in 2021. She joined the staff as an Advocate Supervisor in March of 2023.
“I am honored and excited to bring my skills and vision to the Executive Director position at CASA of Hill County Texas,” Gardner said. “I know the difference a CASA volunteer can make in the life of a child in foster care, and I look forward to bringing my ideas and experience to the table here in Hill County.”

The following Advocates were sworn in on February 8, 2024, by Judge Matt Crain.  Please help me welcome Amy, Susan, and Tiffany to CASA of Hill County Texas!

On June 26, 2023, Judge Mat Crain officiated the swearing in of our new advocate Candra for CASA of Hill County Texas

In 2023, Judge Matt Crain officiated the swearing in of our new advocate Delaina for CASA of Hill County Texas.

In 2022, Judge Matt Crain officiated the swearing in of 12 new advocates for CASA of Hill County Texas.

On March 29, 2019, Judge Matt Crain officiated the swearing in of the newest Advocates for CASA of Hill County Texas. These are the newest voices for abused and neglected children in Hill County. Congratulations to our newest Advocates!

 

First Graduating class of Volunteers

On March 21, 2019 CASA of Hill County Texas graduated its first class of volunteers. Six individuals completed the 30 hours of pre-service training and will be sworn in as Advocates for abused and neglected children in Hill County. We are proud of the hard work of these volunteers and thank them for making a difference in the lives of children. They are the new voice for children in foster care in Hill County. Thank you to the George G. and Alva Hudson Smith Foundation

CASA of Hill County is pleased to announce we have been selected to receive a grant of $3,700 from the George G. and Alva Hudson Smith Foundation. The grant will go towards helping us purchase computers and other technology for employees and volunteers. We are so appreciative of their support of CASA and the children we serve!
